These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website geldwijs.com and any courses, workshops, coaching sessions, and other services offered by Geldwijs ("Geldwijs", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing this website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

All content, courses, workshops, and coaching provided by Geldwijs are for general educational and informational purposes only. Geldwijs does not provide personalised financial, investment, tax, or legal advice as defined under the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft). We are not a licensed financial services provider and do not hold an AFM (Autoriteit Financiële Markten) licence, as our services do not constitute investment services, asset management, or the provision of financial information on specific financial products.

Nothing on this website or in our services should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product. You should always consult a licensed financial adviser, tax adviser, or lawyer before making financial decisions. All content on this website, including texts, course materials, templates, calculators, logos, and design, is the property of Geldwijs or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Upon purchase of a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the course materials for your own learning. Course materials may not be shared, resold, published, or used for commercial purposes.

5. Courses, Workshops and Coaching

Detailed descriptions, pricing, and schedules of our courses, workshops, and coaching sessions are published on our website. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to adjust prices, content, and schedules; changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Coaching sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled by you free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours may be charged in full.

6. Payment

Payment is due before access to a course or participation in a workshop or coaching session is granted, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Payment plans, where offered, require all instalments to be paid on the agreed dates. We may suspend access to services if payments are overdue.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

If you purchase a service as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason, in accordance with Dutch and EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, implemented in the Dutch Burgerlijk Wetboek). You can exercise this right by notifying us at [email protected].

If you expressly consent to immediate access to an online course during the withdrawal period, you acknowledge that once access is provided and you confirmed you lose your withdrawal right upon full delivery, the right of withdrawal lapses for that digital content. For physical workshops and coaching sessions that have already taken place, no refund is available except where required by law. Refunds are processed within 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase.

8. Access to Online Courses

Unless stated otherwise, access to an online course is granted for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Access is personal and may not be transferred to other persons. We may update or improve course content from time to time and may withdraw a course at the end of its availability period with reasonable notice.

Geldwijs compiles its content and materials with the utmost care. However, we cannot guarantee that the information is complete, accurate, or up to date at all times. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Geldwijs accepts no liability for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use of this website or our services, including financial loss resulting from decisions you make based on general educational content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for intent (opzet) or deliberate recklessness (bewuste roekeloosheid) under Dutch law.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith consultation. If no resolution is reached, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Geldwijs is established, unless mandatory consumer protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings before the court of your place of residence. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
